Filmmaking team 2 Player Productions has announced that chipmusic documentary _Reformat The Planet_ will premiere this March, as part of the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin Texas.
Self-produced, and in production for over a year, the feature-length film takes a look at the chipmusic movement, and at a cross-section of its practitioners, using the 2006 Blip Festival as centerpiece. Includes interviews, commentary, and performance footage by artists including Glomag, Coova, Bud Melvin, Hally, Mark DeNardo, Dan Winckler, Starpause, Random, Nullsleep, Portalenz, Bubblyfish, Voltage Controlled, Bit Shifter, and many others.
The SxSW premiere additionally serves as a sister event to the 8bitpeoples label showcase event also taking place at SxSW as part of the Music Festival.
