Manly site for manly people providing manly NDS music rips appeared

An music archive site with data in the new 2SF emulated format (along with a few streamed sets). About 125 games are available right now, with new ones getting added daily.

Please note that games that had an OST release less then a half a year ago won't be available for download.

I got a question for the readers of Vorc:
Should I post news about the 2SF Music Format?

I mean, this is not really about Chiptunes or Oldschool Gamemusic (the old rule was 1995 or before, though Playstation / Playstation 2 news were common also when Hally was posting news).

Since I guess most of you will be ok with it I'll include it in the future, unless some people have good reasons against it.

To put things in a little perspective, the "Long awaited" Gameboy Advance GSF format came about as early in the console life (October 2004 with hardware premiere in March 2001, compared to February 2008 with hardware premiere in November 2004).

Many NDS soundtracks are actually remixed music of older games. Besides, I think any sequenced format is somehow oldsk00l in spirit. If we accept PSF rips, there's no reason we shouldn't tolerate 2SF rips. IMHO.

All the praise should go to Unknownfile, the format creator and the Japanese guy that made the player plugin.

Speaking of which, here's the latest build of that:

Unknownfile is doing another player plugin, but it's still in the testing stages, not sure if it's okay for me to link to it.

Streamed tracks that many games use are perfectly playable in hcs' in_cube: http://hcs64.com/in_cube.html

This info will get added to the site once all the current rips are added.
